Any changes we make to the terms and conditions will be reflected on this page.
1. Registration
When you register, you are registering to buy trade items via this website. Information given on the registration form should be accurate and up to date. We take no responsibility for incorrect registration information. It is the trader’s duty to ensure this information remains updated and accurate at all times.
2. Termination of registration
Karlen Antique’s Centre can terminate registration at any time if we believe the buyer is not complying with buying rules. A buyer may terminate their registration at any time by sending us a termination notice via email to admin@antiquesshipper.co.uk
3. Online shopping
We have taken great care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. However, the images you see will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise.
If you are interested in an item and feel that it is badly presented please contact us about this item BEFORE you order.
By submitting an order to us through our website, you represent and warrant that the details provided on your order are valid and correct, and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. If the Billing details for your order are the same as your Delivery address details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing details.
Visitors under the age of 18 should not register with this website.
4. Acceptance of your Order
Shortly after you have placed an order with us an email will be sent to you acknowledging the exact details of your order. This confirmation of your order will be from Karlen Antique’s Centre.
The email will contain methods of payment preferred, which may include cheque, postal order, cash on collection, debit and credit cards or direct bank transfer.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and the company will take place when payment has been received and your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
The product you ordered has been sold - you will be notified if this is the case.
The identification of a pricing or product description error item not matching description given on website, item broken in transit, any postage problem regarding the item must be taken up with Karlen Antique’s Centre.
If any of the above occur Karlen Antique’s Centre should be notified as we pride ourselves with a high standard of accuracy and good selling communications.
5. Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order please contact Customer Services by:
- Calling 00 44 (0) 1282 431953 between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday
- Returning your acknowledgement email to us stating your intention to cancel the order.
6. Pricing Policy
All prices shown on the website are in Pounds Sterling. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time. We feature products on our website that have been carefully selected for Online ordering. Once an item is sold it will be taken off the website at the earliest opportunity and may not be available again. Prices of products may change from time to time. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will cancel your order.
7. Returns Policy
Damaged goods may be returned for a refund or exchange if returned in their original condition within 7 days with proof of purchase. Please note that the return costs are not pre-paid. Postage or other return costs will be the customer’s responsibility and will be reimbursed by the seller only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. You must return the goods, together with their packaging, in the same condition as supplied to you.
No returns will be accepted after the seven-day period.
8. Liability and Indemnity
Except as set out above and in relation to our contractual obligations to supply goods and/or services following acceptance of orders placed on our website, neither we nor any of our agents, affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise for any loss or damage whatsoever in any way connected with your use of the website. We shall not be liable for any indirect, or consequential loss of whatever nature, including damage to software or hardware, loss of data, damage for loss of business, loss of profits, or any other indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your use of the website (including without limitation, any such loss arising out of or in connection with any order placed on the website, whether or not accepted by us). You agree to indemnify us and our agents and officers, directors and employees, immediately on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you.
The website is controlled and operated in the UK. These Terms and Conditions and all matters connected with any order you place in our website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to all matters connected with or arising out of the website or any order you place on the website.
